Disconnected: People who aren't afforded the use of a computer

I came across another article about disconnect, but this one relates to people who are disconnected from computers due to their situation in life. It's a good article that looks at Libraries and how they help these people.

  1. I look forward to reading the article but already know that the Digital Divide still exists.

    I live in a remote rural where high speed, although coming down, is still expensive enough not to affordable. Desirable to be sure but hardly a necessity. The only public access computers (aside from limited access in the public schools) are four stations in the small, 100% volunteer run community library.
